The proposed Reference Architecture SHALL define architectural mechanisms that separate interpretive logic from implementation environments.
When interpretive logic is embedded exclusively within application code, runtime platforms, or proprietary processing systems, the rules used to produce an outcome become difficult to identify, govern, reproduce, and transfer.
Architectural separation allows interpretive logic to be defined, identified, versioned, governed, and associated with applicable Data, Structure, and Semantics independently of the environment used to execute or apply it.
This separation supports consistent Interpretation across implementations and preserves the ability to reproduce an interpretive outcome under identified version conditions.
A conforming Submission demonstrates that:
This requirement does not require interpretive logic to be directly executable in its implementation-independent form. A platform-specific realization may translate, bind, compile, or otherwise implement that logic, provided the relationship to the governed definition remains identifiable and traceable.
SIP-013 governs reproducible Interpretation under identified, version-controlled conditions. SIP-050 provides the architectural separation needed to preserve and reuse the applicable interpretive logic independently of a particular implementation environment.
