7. Non-Functional Characteristics

Go to Top

The Governed Node Service Market creates value by making non-functional characteristics explicit, testable, comparable, and attributable to Qualified Nodes and Qualified Service Providers.

A buyer or integrator usually lacks the time, access, and expertise needed to assess every candidate Node from first principles. The market, therefore, needs to identify which Nodes and providers satisfy the required characteristics for a defined governed function.

This role resembles a listed-component model. A participant may select a component because the market recognises that it meets the defined criteria for the intended use. The participant remains responsible for its own obligations, but it does not need to repeat every technical, operational, security, portability, maintainability, reliability, residency, sovereignty, evidence, and service-level evaluation independently.
