The checkPrerequisites.sh script should verify that the developer or test environment satisfies the required Phase 0 prerequisites before setup, generation, build, run, or acceptance tasks proceed.
The script should check required tools and environment assumptions, including:
The script should distinguish required tools from optional tools. Missing required tools should cause failure. Missing optional tools should produce warnings unless the requested workflow depends on them.
The script should align with the applicable tool Baseline checklist instance. It should verify the selected products, platforms, version ranges, and role-specific requirements for the environment under test.
