Go To Phase 0 Interaction Pattern Realization
The Register FX Logical Node pattern realizes implementation participant registration, capability reporting, or configuration-based participation in the Phase 0 implementation baseline.
Phase 0 may realize registration through a DDS-based registration message, repository configuration, startup metadata, a Node status report, or a combination of these mechanisms. The selected mechanism must identify the implementation participant, the FX logical Node or Node Role it realizes, supported DDS Topics, supported generated types, Runtime Plane participation, version context, and compatibility metadata.
Table 12-1: Register FX Logical Node implementation realization.
| Realization Concern | Phase 0 Implementation Treatment |
|---|---|
| FX logical interaction pattern | Register FX Logical Node |
| Primary implementation participants | Registering implementation participant, registry, or coordination participant, where Phase 0 includes one |
| Primary Runtime Plane | FX Logical Control Plane |
| Supporting Runtime Planes | FX Logical Health and Observability Plane; FX Logical Audit and Provenance Plane, where registration supports review or evidence |
| Primary DDS Topics | Control.FX.ControlCommand; Health.FX.NodeStatus; or a registration Topic where Phase 0 defines one |
| Primary information | Node identity, Node Roles, supported Topics, supported generated types, version context, compatibility metadata |
| Expected processing outcome | The implementation baseline records the participant's declared role, capability, and compatibility context. |
| Logging and exception handling | Implementation participants log startup, registration success, registration warning, registration failure, and compatibility failure as described in the Developer Handbook. |
| Traceability expectation | Registration traces to the FX logical Node, Node Roles, supported Communication Endpoints, supported information structures, and the Phase 0 implementation participant. |
