12.12 Record FX Audit and Provenance

Go To Phase 0 Interaction Pattern Realization

The Record FX Audit and Provenance pattern realizes Phase 0 audit and provenance recording for selected implementation interactions.

The implementation participant performing the Audit Recording Role or Provenance Recording Role records or publishes information about selected interactions, processing outcomes, source references, output references, producing participants, consuming participants, DDS Topics, IDL structures, generated types, timestamps, rule versions, model versions, policy decisions, and evidence-supporting context.

Table 12-10: Record FX Audit and Provenance implementation realization.

Realization Concern Phase 0 Implementation Treatment
FX logical interaction pattern Record FX Audit and Provenance
Primary implementation participant Audit and provenance implementation participant, or participating implementation Nodes where Phase 0 distributes audit/provenance emission
Primary Runtime Plane FX Logical Audit and Provenance Plane
Supporting Runtime Planes All Runtime Planes whose interactions require audit or provenance records
Primary DDS Topics Audit.FX.AuditRecord; Audit.FX.ProvenanceRecord
Primary IDL / generated types FxAuditRecord; FxProvenanceRecord
Expected processing outcome Implementation records auditable information and lineage relationships for selected Phase 0 interactions.
Logging and exception handling Audit write failure, provenance write failure, missing correlation context, incomplete lineage, and publication failure follow the logging and exception-handling baseline.
Audit and provenance expectation Audit and provenance records preserve relationships among inputs, outputs, participants, Topics, versions, timestamps, and processing outcomes.
Traceability expectation Interaction traces to FX Audit and Provenance Node, Audit Recording Role, Provenance Recording Role, FX Audit Record Endpoint, FX Provenance Record Endpoint, FX Audit Record, and FX Provenance Record.
