Go To Mapping from FX Logical Communication Endpoints to DDS Topics
The FX Control Command Endpoint maps to the DDS Topic that carries the Phase 0 implementation representation of FX Control Command and FX Command Acknowledgement information.
Phase 0 may use separate command and acknowledgement DDS Topics when the Implementation Profile requires clearer directionality, simpler filtering, or cleaner audit/provenance recording. When Phase 0 uses separate Topics, both Topics realize the FX Control Command Endpoint because the logical endpoint covers command exchange and acknowledgement exchange.
Table 9-11: FX Control Command Endpoint to DDS Topic mapping.
| Mapping Concern | Phase 0 Implementation Treatment |
|---|---|
| FX logical Communication Endpoint | FX Control Command Endpoint |
| DDS Topic | Control.FX.ControlCommand |
| Optional acknowledgement DDS Topic | Control.FX.CommandAcknowledgement |
| Primary information structures | FX Control Command; FX Command Acknowledgement |
| IDL structures / generated types | Phase 0 representations of the FX Control Command and the FX Command Acknowledgement |
| Producing Node Roles | Registry and Coordination Role; authorized command-producing roles |
| Consuming Node Roles | Command-consuming implementation participants; Registry and Coordination Role; Audit Recording Role |
| Primary Runtime Plane | FX Logical Control Plane |
| Supporting Runtime Planes | FX Logical Health and Observability Plane; FX Logical Audit and Provenance Plane |
| QoS profile family | Control Plane QoS profile |
| Traceability expectation | DDS Topic traces to the FX Control Command Endpoint, the FX Control Command, and the FX Command Acknowledgement. |
