This section defines how the Phase 0 Implementation Profile maps selected FX logical Communication Endpoints from the Part 3 FX Demo Logical Profile to DDS Topics.
An FX logical Communication Endpoint identifies a platform-independent point of information exchange among FX logical Nodes. A DDS Topic realizes the endpoint for the Phase 0 implementation context. The DDS Topic does not redefine the endpoint, the FX logical information structure carried by the endpoint, the Runtime Plane classification, or the participating FX logical Nodes and Node Roles.
The endpoint-to-topic mapping supports traceability from FX logical Communication Endpoints to DDS Topics and from DDS Topics back to FX logical Communication Endpoints.
