Go To Mapping from FX Logical Nodes to Implementation Artifacts
The External Oversight Participant maps to the Phase 0 implementation artifact, test participant, demonstration participant, or simulated subscriber that receives authorized release information.
The implementation artifact performs the Oversight Consumption Role. It consumes the implementation representation of the FX Release Package through the selected communication mechanism. It supports demonstrating a governed release without accessing internal FX Logical Data Plane information beyond the authorized release.
Table 8-12: External Oversight Participant implementation mapping.
| Mapping Concern | Phase 0 Implementation Treatment |
|---|---|
| FX logical Node | External Oversight Participant |
| Primary Node Role | Oversight Consumption Role |
| Primary Runtime Plane | FX Logical Policy and Release Plane |
| Supporting Runtime Planes | FX Logical Audit and Provenance Plane |
| Primary implementation responsibility | Receive authorized FX Release Package information. |
| Primary DDS interaction | Subscribe to the DDS Topic that realizes the FX Release Package Endpoint, where Phase 0 models external oversight through DDS. |
| Primary data artifact | IDL and the generated type representing the FX Release Package. |
| Supporting artifacts | Demonstration subscriber, release receipt helper, logging helper, and traceability metadata. |
| Traceability expectation | Implementation artifact traces to the External Oversight Participant, Oversight Consumption Role, FX Release Package Endpoint, and the FX Release Package. |
