Go To FX Demo Logical Traceability Model
The FX Demo Logical Traceability Model specializes the Part 2 Logical Traceability Model for the Foreign Exchange Domain.
FX logical Traceability relates FX logical profile elements to the Part 1 Conceptual Architecture, the Part 2 Distributed Node-Based Logical Architecture / PIM, later implementation mappings, deployment artifacts, test scenarios, runtime observations, and Evidence records.
The FX Demo Logical Traceability Model supports forward review from conceptual meaning to the FX logical profile element, and backward review from the FX logical profile element to inherited conceptual and logical sources. It also prepares Part 4 and Part 5 to preserve Traceability from FX logical elements to implementation artifacts, deployment artifacts, test results, operational observations, audit records, provenance records, and Evidence packages.
The FX Demo Logical Traceability Model does not prescribe a traceability tool, repository structure, modeling notation, requirements-management system, issue tracker, metadata format, evidence store, or runtime capture mechanism. Implementation, deployment, testability, and evidence plans select those mechanisms.
Figure 14-1 summarises the FX Demo logical traceability chain.
