Go To FX Demo Logical Interaction Patterns
The Interpret FX Transaction Semantics pattern applies a governed semantic context to validated FX transaction information.
The FX Semantic Interpretation Node consumes validated FX transaction information, applies governed semantic definitions or mappings, identifies relevant FX business meaning, produces an FX Semantic Assertion, and records semantic source, semantic version, interpretation context, timestamp, and provenance reference.
The interaction belongs primarily to the Logical Data Plane. It also supports the Logical Audit and Provenance Plane because semantic interpretation requires Traceability to input information, governed definitions, semantic version, producing Node, and Evidence expectations.
Table 12-5: Interpret FX Transaction Semantics interaction pattern.
| Element | FX logical treatment |
|---|---|
| Primary Runtime Plane | Logical Data Plane |
| Producing FX Node Role | Semantic Interpretation Role |
| Consuming FX Node Role | Contract State Management Role, Policy Evaluation Role, Audit Recording Role, Provenance Recording Role |
| Primary endpoint | FX Semantic Interpretation Endpoint |
| Primary information | FX Semantic Assertion |
| Supporting information | Validated transaction reference, semantic source, semantic version, interpretation context, producing Node, timestamp |
| Traceability expectation | Semantic assertion traces to validated transaction information, governed semantic source, semantic version, interpretation context, and producing Node |
| Evidence expectation | Semantic interpretation records support the review of the meaning assigned to FX transaction information |
