The Subscribe to Domain Information pattern allows a Logical Node to receive domain, financial, analytical, lifecycle, validation, or derived information through a Logical Communication Endpoint.
A subscribing Logical Node consumes Logical Data Structure Instances governed by a Logical Data Structure Definition. The subscription identifies the consuming Logical Node, endpoint, expected information structure, Runtime Plane, compatibility expectations, and Traceability expectations.
The interaction belongs primarily to the Logical Data Plane. It also supports the Logical Audit and Provenance Plane when the architecture records consumption, processing, or downstream use.
Table 10-4: Subscribe to Domain Information logical interaction pattern
| Element | Logical treatment |
|---|---|
| Primary Runtime Plane | Logical Data Plane |
| Producing Logical Node Role | Publisher, Event Producer, Assertion Producer, or Domain Information Producer |
| Consuming Logical Node Role | Subscriber, Event Consumer, Validator, Interpreter, Auditor, or Oversight Node |
| Primary information | Logical Event, Logical Message, Logical Assertion, or Logical Record |
| Supporting information | Consuming Logical Node Identity, endpoint identity, expected information definition, compatibility metadata |
| Traceability expectation | Subscription traces to consuming Logical Node, endpoint, expected information structure, Runtime Plane, and downstream responsibility. |
| Evidence expectation | Captured consumption records support review of processing, lineage, and accountability. |
