Readers should select the part that best answers the question they are trying to answer.
Table 8-1: Navigation guide for selecting the appropriate document part
| Question | Read |
|---|---|
| What are the durable financial system concepts? | Part 1: Conceptual Architecture |
| What is the platform-independent logical model? | Part 2: Logical Architecture / PIM |
| How does the model apply to Foreign Exchange? | Part 3: FX Demo Logical Profile |
| How does Phase 0 map the logical model to DDS, IDL, Python, and container images? | Part 4: Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM |
| How does Phase 0 run, deploy, test, and collect evidence? | Part 5: Phase 0 Deployment, Testability, and Evidence Plan |
A reader should not begin with Part 5 to understand the architecture. Part 5 explains how one implementation runs. It does not define the conceptual or logical architecture. A developer working on Phase 0 may spend most of their time in Parts 4 and 5. An architect reviewing the separation of concerns should begin with Parts 1 and 2. A domain reviewer focused on FX should begin with Part 3. A reviewer assessing evidence should use Part 5 while tracing claims back through Parts 4, 3, 2, and 1.
