Each FX logical Communication Endpoint SHALL preserve traceability to the Communication Endpoint from Part 1.
Part 3, Section 17.5: FX Logical Communication Requirements.
Preserving traceability to the Part 1 Conceptual Architecture ensures that each FX logical Communication Endpoint maintains a direct relationship to the conceptual communication constructs from which it is derived. This supports architectural governance, impact analysis, conformance assessment, and evidence generation while maintaining consistency across the layered architecture.
Maintaining this traceability enables reviewers to understand how domain-specific communication relationships evolve from the conceptual communication model established by the Reference Architecture.
This requirement applies to every FX logical Communication Endpoint defined by the FX Demo Logical Profile.
It applies specifically to:
Verification SHALL confirm that each FX logical Communication Endpoint preserves traceability to its originating Communication Endpoint defined by the Part 1 Conceptual Architecture.
Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
This requirement supports end-to-end architectural traceability from the Part 1 Conceptual Architecture through the Part 2 Logical Architecture to the FX Demo Logical Profile.
