An Implementation Profile / PSM SHALL preserve the FX Demo Logical Profile defined in this part.

Part 3, Section 17.12: Implementation Boundary Requirements.

An Implementation Profile or Platform-Specific Model realizes the logical architecture rather than replacing or modifying it. Preserving the FX Demo Logical Profile ensures that all implementation decisions remain faithful to the platform-independent architecture while allowing implementation-specific technologies, deployment strategies, and runtime mechanisms to vary.

This preservation maintains architectural consistency, interoperability, governance, and conformance across different implementations.

This requirement applies to every Implementation Profile and Platform-Specific Model derived from the FX Demo Logical Profile.

It applies specifically to:

• Implementation Profiles;
• Platform-Specific Models;
• implementation architecture;
• conformance assessment; and
• implementation governance.

Verification SHALL confirm that each Implementation Profile or Platform-Specific Model preserves the FX Demo Logical Profile.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

• logical architectural meaning is preserved;
• implementation-specific realizations remain consistent with the logical profile;
• architectural relationships remain intact; and
• implementation choices do not modify the logical architecture.

This requirement establishes preservation of the FX Demo Logical Profile within derived implementations.
