FX Logical Versioning SHALL identify versions of FX logical definitions, relationships, constraints, and profile elements.

Logical versioning enables the architectural evolution of the FX Demo Logical Profile while preserving traceability, governance, and interoperability. Identifying versions of logical definitions, relationships, constraints, and profile elements allows architectural changes to be managed consistently without coupling the logical architecture to implementation-specific version control systems or release mechanisms.

Maintaining explicit logical versioning supports controlled evolution across multiple Implementation Profiles while preserving the meaning and integrity of the architecture.

This requirement applies to all versioned elements of the FX Demo Logical Profile.

It applies specifically to:

• logical definitions;
• logical relationships;
• logical constraints;
• profile elements;
• architectural governance; and
• derived Implementation Profiles.

Verification SHALL confirm that versions are identified for applicable FX logical definitions, relationships, constraints, and profile elements.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

• version information is identified;
• version relationships are maintained;
• architectural evolution is traceable; and
• implementation-specific version-control technologies are not prescribed.

This requirement establishes logical version management within the FX Logical Governance Model.
