A Domain Logical Profile SHALL identify the Part 2 logical elements it inherits unchanged.

Part 2, Section 16.10: Profile and Implementation Boundary Requirements.

Explicitly identifying inherited logical elements distinguishes reused architecture from specialized architecture. This improves architectural review, governance, compatibility assessment, and traceability.

This requirement applies to Domain Logical Profiles.

It applies specifically to:

• Inherited logical elements;
• Domain Logical Profiles; and
• Logical Architecture / PIM.

Verification SHALL confirm that inherited Part 2 logical elements are explicitly identified.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

• inherited logical elements are documented;
• inherited meaning is preserved;
• no unintended changes are introduced; and
• traceability to Part 2 exists.

This requirement supports traceability between inherited Part 2 logical elements and Domain Logical Profiles.
