Discussion

Qualification Evidence supports recognition of a Node, Qualified Node, Service Provider, or Qualified Service Provider for a governed function or Non-Functional Characteristic. In the Governed Node Service Market, Qualification Evidence provides the basis for recording, reviewing, and trusting a Qualification Profile.

Qualification Evidence may include conformance test results, certification records, security assessment records, service-level test results, interoperability test results, deployment evidence, residency evidence, sovereignty evidence, audit findings, operational history, or governance approval records.

Qualification Evidence supports eligibility. It does not record that a specific item of governed work occurred. Completed governed work is recorded through a Work Performed Event and linked to supporting evidence through an Evidence Reference.

Definition

evidence that supports a recognised qualification for a governed function or Non-Functional Characteristic

Note

Qualification Evidence differs from a Qualification Profile. A Qualification Profile records recognised eligibility. Qualification Evidence supports that recognition.

Qualification Evidence differs from a Work Performed Event. Qualification Evidence supports eligibility. A Work Performed Event records completed governed work.

Qualification Evidence should use Evidence References when the market does not require the full evidence payload.

Example

A conformance test result supports recognition that a semantic validation Node satisfies the required interface and Interoperability criteria for a governed function.
