Discussion

An FX Validation Result represents the outcome of validating an FX Transaction Candidate or FX Transaction Record against applicable logical validation expectations.

The FX Validation Result identifies validation status, validation rule or rule-set reference, validation version, input reference, errors or warnings, producing FX logical Node, timestamp, and provenance reference.

The FX Validation Result participates primarily in the FX Logical Data Plane. It also supports the FX Logical Audit and Provenance Plane because validation outcomes require traceability to input information, validation expectations, rule versions, producing Node, and evidence expectations.

Note

An FX Validation Result is not a validator implementation, test result file, schema report, log entry, API response, or DDS sample.

Example

An FX Validation Result states that an FX Transaction Candidate passed required-field validation and identifies the validation rule version used to reach that result.
