ENV-002b — Instantiate Included Test Objects

The DIDO-TE SHALL instantiate each Test Object included in a Test Environment before Test Execution.

• [DTE7] Federated Data Interpretation Systems Reference Architecture (FDIS-RA)

Instantiating each included Test Object establishes the actual object subjected to evaluation during Test Execution.

The instantiated Test Object provides the operating instance against which the applicable Test Definition, inputs, procedures, and expected outcomes apply.

Establishing correspondence between the defined Test Object and its instantiated state supports Traceability, repeatable Test Execution, and interpretation of the resulting Test Results.

Verification confirms that:

• The DIDO-TE instantiates every Test Object included in the Test Environment.
• Each instantiated Test Object corresponds to a Test Object identified by the controlled Test Environment information.
• Each instantiated Test Object has the specified version, Baseline, and Configuration.
• Each instantiated Test Object enters its required initial state before Test Execution.
• The DIDO-TE maintains Traceability between each defined Test Object and its instantiated state.
• A missing, incorrect, or untraceable Test Object instance constitutes nonconformance with this requirement.

Verification includes:

• Inspection of the Test Objects identified for the Test Environment
• Inspection of each instantiated Test Object
• Comparison of each instantiated Test Object with its controlled definition
• Inspection of the version, Baseline, Configuration, and initial state of each instantiated Test Object
• Inspection of Traceability records connecting each defined Test Object to its instantiated state
• A negative assessment using a missing, incorrect, or untraceable Test Object instance
• Confirmation that the negative assessment produces a nonconformance result
