ENV-001h — Define Environmental Constraints

Go to ENV-001 — Define Test Environment

Statement

The DIDO-TE SHALL define each environmental Constraint applicable to a Test Environment or record that no environmental Constraint applies and provide the basis for the determination.

Derived From

Rationale

Defining the applicable environmental Constraints establishes the physical, virtual, operational, jurisdictional, or connectivity conditions governing a Test Environment.

The defined Constraints support validation of the instantiated Test Environment, reproduction of the conditions under which a Test Execution occurred, and assessment of whether an environmental difference influenced a Test Result.

An explicit determination that no environmental Constraint applies distinguishes an intentional condition from missing information.
