ENV-001c — Identify Included Test Objects

The DIDO-TE SHALL identify each Test Object included in a Test Environment.

• [DTE5] DIDO-TE Requirements Register, source requirement identifier and obligation to be assigned
• [DTE6] Structured Information Processing Reference Architecture (SIP-RA)
• [DTE7] Federated Data Interpretation Systems Reference Architecture (FDIS-RA)

Identifying the included Test Objects establishes which entities undergo evaluation within a Test Environment.

The recorded composition supports confirmation that the Test Environment contains the Test Objects required by an applicable Test Definition. It also supports Traceability from each Test Object to the applicable Test Execution, Test Result, and Evidence.

Verification confirms that:

• Each Test Environment identifies every included Test Object.
• Each identified Test Object has an explicit relationship to the Test Environment.
• Each Test Object required by an applicable Test Definition appears among the identified Test Objects.
• An unidentified Test Object included in the Test Environment constitutes nonconformance with this requirement.

Verification includes:

• Inspection of the controlled information for each Test Environment
• Inspection of the Test Objects present in the Test Environment
• Comparison of the identified Test Objects with the Test Objects present in the Test Environment
• Comparison of the identified Test Objects with those required by each applicable Test Definition
• A negative assessment using a Test Environment containing an unidentified Test Object
• Confirmation that the negative assessment produces a nonconformance result
