DIDO-TE SHALL perform testing operations in a Connected Environment using permitted external network connections and services.

MO-007a derives from MO-007 — Connected, Disconnected, and Air-Gapped Operation.

MO-007a specifies the Connected Environment portion of MO-007.

A Connected Environment provides access to permitted external networks and services during testing operations.

Connected Environment operation permits DIDO-TE to obtain approved testing artifacts, dependencies, configurations, test data, policies, and updates through authorized network connections. It also permits DIDO-TE to interact with approved external services required by a test.

External connectivity introduces dependencies and risks that affect test execution and interpretation. DIDO-TE records the external network connections and services used during each test execution so that the resulting Evidence preserves Traceability to the relevant operating conditions.

Connected Environment operation does not imply unrestricted network access. Applicable security, authorization, configuration, monitoring, and evidence controls govern each permitted connection and external service.

1. DIDO-TE performs testing operations in a Connected Environment

4. DIDO-TE identifies the external network connections and services required by the Test Definition
5. DIDO-TE records the external network connections and services used during each test execution
6. DIDO-TE records external-service failures, interruptions, or changes that affect test execution or interpretation of the Test Results
7. The Evidence preserves Traceability to the Connected Environment and its relevant connectivity conditions
