FR-DEP-007 — Deployment Validation

Crucible SHALL perform Deployment Validation.

This requirement derives from:

• Crucible System Requirements Specification, Version 1.1 Draft, Functional Requirements, FR-DEP-007

The Original Requirement states:

The system shall support Deployment Validation.[C1]

FR-DEP-007:

• Replaces The system with the defined system name Crucible
• Changes shall to the established uppercase normative form SHALL
• Replaces the weak verb support with the observable behavior perform
• Links Deployment Validation to the controlling definition

No other substantive normalization is required.

Deployment Validation determines whether a deployment result satisfies the conditions governing acceptance of that deployment.

This requirement establishes the ability to perform Deployment Validation without prescribing:

• The deployment subject
• The validation method
• The applicable Acceptance Criteria
• Compliance-assessment behavior
• Rollback behavior
• Recovery behavior
• Preservation of validation results
• Validation tools or implementation technology

Separate requirements, specifications, workflows, or policies define those subjects and behaviors.

This requirement applies to:

• Crucible
• Deployment Validation
• Deployments

Verification confirms that:

1. A tested Deployment is selected for validation
2. Crucible performs Deployment Validation for the tested Deployment
3. The result of the tested Deployment Validation can be determined
