Example Holdings owns Example Bank. The Information Model records an Organizational Relationship having: * Example Holdings as the source Organization * Example Bank as the target Organization * `Parent Organization Of` as the Relationship Type * The applicable corporate-ownership context * The acquisition date as the beginning of the Effective Period * The ownership record as supporting Evidence * The source and processing history as Provenance The Organizational Relationship does not replace either Organization's Identity. Ending the relationship does not remove Example Holdings or Example Bank from the Information Model. Example Bank also provides settlement services to Example Brokerage. The Information Model records this as a separate Organizational Relationship having `Settlement Service Provider For` as its Relationship Type. The ownership relationship and service-provider relationship remain separate, even when they involve the same Organizations. ---- © 2026 Dido Solutions, Inc. and Jackrabbit Consulting, Inc.
