====== 15.12 Script Usage Requirements ======

The Developer Handbook must define how contributors use Phase 0 scripts.

Script usage requirements must identify:

  - Purpose of each approved script
  - Required inputs
  - Expected outputs
  - Affected artifacts
  - Logging behavior
  - Error-handling behavior
  - Prerequisites
  - Cleanup behavior
  - Review expectations
  - Relationship to the Phase 0 implementation baseline

Scripts that generate artifacts, alter repository state, start implementation participants, stop implementation participants, or affect [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:t:traceability|Traceability]] must follow handbook rules. Contributors must not use unapproved scripts to create or modify baseline artifacts.
