The Developer Handbook must define [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:t:traceability|Traceability]] conventions for Phase 0 implementation artifacts.

Traceability conventions must identify how contributors record relationships among:

  - Part 3 FX logical elements
  - Part 4 implementation artifacts
  - [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:d:dds|DDS]] Topics
  - IDL structures
  - Generated types
  - Hand-authored source files
  - Configuration files
  - Scripts
  - QoS profiles
  - Logging categories
  - Exception-handling patterns
  - Repository locations
  - Review records

Traceability conventions must support forward and backward review. Reviewers must be able to trace from a Part 3 FX logical element to the Phase 0 implementation artifact that realizes it, and from a Phase 0 implementation artifact back to the FX logical element or implementation concern that justifies it.
