====== 12.6 Validate FX Transaction Candidate ======
[[fxdemo:04-part:12-phase-0-interaction-pattern-realization:start | Go To Phase 0 Interaction Pattern Realization ]]
The Validate FX Transaction Candidate pattern realizes structural validation of candidate FX transaction information.
The implementation participant performing the Structural Validation Role subscribes to the candidate transaction DDS Topic, validates the received generated type instance against Phase 0 validation expectations, produces an FX Validation Result, and publishes that result to the validation result DDS Topic.
**Table 12-4:** Validate FX Transaction Candidate implementation realization.
^ Realization Concern ^ Phase 0 Implementation Treatment ^
| FX logical interaction pattern | Validate FX Transaction Candidate |
| Primary implementation participant | Validation implementation participant |
| Primary Runtime Plane | FX Logical Data Plane |
| Supporting Runtime Plane | FX Logical Audit and Provenance Plane |
| Input DDS Topic | Data.FX.TransactionCandidate |
| Output DDS Topic | Data.FX.ValidationResult |
| Primary IDL / generated types | FxTransactionCandidate; FxValidationResult |
| Expected processing outcome | Implementation publishes validation status, validation messages, input reference, rule version, producing participant, and timestamp. |
| Logging and exception handling | Validation errors, validation failures, processing exceptions, publication failures, and retry conditions follow the logging and exception-handling baseline. |
| Audit and provenance expectation | Validation records preserve input reference, validation rule version, producing participant, timestamp, and validation outcome. |
| Traceability expectation | Interaction traces to FX Validation Node, Structural Validation Role, FX Validation Result Endpoint, FX Transaction Candidate, FX Validation Result, and implementation participant. |
