====== 11.4 Health and Observability Plane Realization ====== [[fxdemo:04-part:11-phase-0-runtime-plane-realization:start | Go To Phase 0 Runtime Plane Realization ]] The Phase 0 implementation realizes the FX Logical Health and Observability Plane through artifacts that report on and observe the implementation participant's condition. Health and Observability Plane realization includes: * Node status reporting; * lifecycle-state reporting; * startup and shutdown reporting; * warning and degraded-operation reporting; * failure and recovery reporting; * operational timestamp and status-reason recording; and * traceability from status information to the reporting implementation participant and related FX logical Node. Phase 0 maps health and observability information primarily to DDS Topics such as ''Health.FX.NodeStatus''. It also uses logging conventions and exception-handling conventions to record operational conditions. Operational exceptions support the Health and Observability Plane by describing Node conditions, degradation, failure, warnings, or recovery. Exceptions that affect logical processing, lineage, replay, reconstruction, release, or evidence also support the Audit and Provenance Plane. Exceptions that require retry, pause, resume, restart, or recovery coordination also support the Control Plane. ---- © 2026 Dido Solutions, Inc. and Jackrabbit Consulting, Inc.
