====== 8.9 FX Policy and Release Node Mapping ======

The FX Policy and Release [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_node|Node]] maps to the Phase 0 implementation artifact that evaluates release conditions and prepares authorized FX information for external oversight consumption.

The implementation artifact performs the Policy Evaluation [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_node_role|Role]] and the Release Control Role. It consumes selected FX information, applies the Phase 0 policy and release logic, produces an implementation representation of an FX Policy Decision, and produces an implementation representation of an FX Release Package when the decision permits release.
