The Request FX Policy Decision pattern requests governed evaluation of FX information before access, disclosure, safeguarding, redaction, transformation, marking, obligation assignment, or release.

The requesting FX logical [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_node|Node]] identifies the information subject to evaluation, the intended recipient, the purpose, the requested handling action, the policy context, the classification or marking context, the source information references, and the provenance reference.

The [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:f:fx_policy_and_release_node|FX Policy and Release Node]] evaluates the request and produces an [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:f:fx_policy_decision|FX Policy Decision]].
