The Register FX Logical Node pattern allows an FX logical [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_node|Node]] to announce its identity, roles, capabilities, supported endpoints, supported FX information definitions, supported [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:r:runtime_plane|Runtime Planes]], lifecycle state, version context, and compatibility metadata.

The registering FX logical [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_node|Node]] provides its FX logical Node identity, FX logical [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_node_role|Node Roles]], supported FX logical [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_communication_endpoint|Communication Endpoints]], supported FX logical information-structure versions, lifecycle state, and governance or compatibility metadata.

The registration interaction belongs primarily to the [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_control_plane|Logical Control Plane]]. It also supports the [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_health_and_observability_plane|Logical Health and Observability Plane]] when registration includes operational state, and it supports the [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_audit_and_provenance_plane|Logical Audit and Provenance Plane]] when the FX Demo records registration for review or [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:e:evidence|Evidence]].
