This section defines the formal logical requirements for the distributed, node-based Logical Architecture / PIM.

The requirements in this section preserve platform independence, distributed logical structure, explicit communication, logical information discipline, Runtime Plane separation, governance, [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:t:traceability|Traceability]], and the boundary between the Logical Architecture / PIM and later Domain Logical Profiles, Implementation Profiles / PSMs, deployment plans, testability plans, and [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:e:evidence|Evidence]] plans.
