The Logical Architecture / PIM defines logical structure, not deployment topology.

It does not prescribe centralised deployment, federated deployment, colocated execution, distributed execution, cloud deployment, on-premises deployment, hybrid deployment, multi-jurisdiction deployment, Kubernetes deployment, container deployment, or single-machine execution.

Deployment profiles define topology for a specific environment. Those deployment choices realize the Logical Architecture under selected operational constraints. They do not redefine [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_node|Logical Nodes]], [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_communication_endpoint|Logical Communication Endpoints]], Logical Runtime Planes, or [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_data_structure_definition|Logical Data Structure Definitions]].
