The Logical Architecture / PIM applies the following constraints:

  * [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_data_structure_definition|Logical Data Structure Definitions]] remain distinct from serialisation formats and implementation schemas.
  * Logical Runtime Planes remain distinct from implementation groupings.
  * Logical interactions remain [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:t:traceability|traceable]].
  * Logical Architecture does not prescribe deployment topology.
  * Logical Architecture does not prescribe the implementation of communication patterns.
  * Logical Architecture does not prescribe governance tooling.
  * Domain Logical Profiles preserve the Logical Architecture while adding Domain-specific logical detail.
  * Implementation Profiles / PSMs preserve the Logical Architecture while mapping logical elements to selected technologies.
