Part 2 provides the reusable logical foundation for [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:d:domain|Domain]] profiles.

A [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:d:domain|Domain]] profile, such as the FX Demo Logical Profile, specializes the [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_model|Logical Architecture]] / [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:p:platform_independent_model|PIM]] for a specific financial [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:d:domain|Domain]]. The [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:d:domain|Domain]] profile inherits the conceptual definitions from Part 1 and the platform-independent logical relationships from Part 2.

By inheriting conceptual definitions from Part 1 and logical relationships from Part 2, each [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:d:domain|Domain]] profile allows the [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:f:financial_system|Financial Systems]] Archetype to support multiple financial [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:d:domain|Domain]]s without rewriting the conceptual foundation or the [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:l:logical_model|Logical Model]].
