**Discussion:**

The [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:f:foreign_exchange_domain|Foreign Exchange Domain]] identifies the business and [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:s:semantic|Semantic]] area concerned with currency exchange and related financial obligations.

The [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:f:foreign_exchange_domain|Foreign Exchange Domain]] includes structured information related to FX transactions, currency pairs, counterparties, trade lifecycle states, contractual obligations, settlement, cash-flow projection, validation, attestation, policy-governed release, audit, provenance, and oversight.

The FX Demo Logical Profile uses the [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:f:foreign_exchange_domain|Foreign Exchange Domain]] as its [[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:d:domain|Domain]] classification. Later implementation and deployment profiles inherit this classification when they implement or deploy the FX Demo. They do not redefine it.
