Each DDS Topic mapping SHALL identify the IDL structure and generated type used for Phase 0 exchange.

===== Rationale =====

The IDL structure and generated type define the selected Phase 0 implementation representation used for DDS exchange.

Identifying both artifacts allows reviewers to trace the communication path from logical information structure through governed IDL to the generated runtime representation.

This requirement applies to:

  * DDS Topic mappings;
  * IDL structures;
  * generated types;
  * generation records; and
  * implementation participants using the Topic.

===== Verification =====

Verification SHALL confirm that each DDS Topic mapping identifies the IDL structure and generated type used for Phase 0 exchange.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  * the applicable IDL structure is identified;
  * the generated type is identified;
  * the generated type derives from the identified IDL structure; and
  * the mapping is consistent with the logical information structure.

This requirement establishes the representation chain from FX logical information structures to IDL structures, generated types, and DDS Topic exchange.
