====== P4-REQ-21-3-005 ====== [[dido:99_annexes:annex-d-requirements:part-04:start| Return to Requirements]] ===== Statement ===== The Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM SHALL identify generated types as Phase 0 implementation data artefacts derived from governed IDL structures. ===== Source ===== Part 4, Section 21.3: Technology Selection Requirements. ===== Rationale ===== Generated types provide implementation-language representations of governed IDL structures. Treating them explicitly as derived implementation artefacts preserves the distinction between source definitions and generated outputs. This relationship supports repeatability, regeneration, review, and traceability from implementation data representations back to governed IDL and FX logical information structures. ===== Applies To ===== This requirement applies to: * generated Phase 0 types; * governed IDL structures; * generated-code locations; * generation processes; and * implementation modules using generated types. ===== Verification ===== Verification SHALL confirm that generated types are identified as implementation data artefacts derived from governed IDL structures. Verification activities should include review checks confirming that: * each generated type identifies or can be traced to its source IDL structure; * generated types are distinguishable from hand-authored implementation code; * regeneration follows the approved generation process; and * generated types remain traceable to applicable FX logical information structures. ===== Traceability ===== This requirement establishes the derivation chain from FX logical information structures through governed IDL structures to generated Phase 0 types.
