Identifying the applicable Developer Handbook rules ensures that contributors know how artifacts in each location must be handled and allows reviewers to apply the correct conformance expectations. ===== Applies To ===== This requirement applies to: * governed source locations; * generated-code locations; * configuration locations; * script locations; * documentation locations; and * applicable build and non-baseline locations. ===== Verification ===== Verification SHALL confirm that each repository location identifies its applicable Developer Handbook rules. Verification activities should include review checks confirming that: * applicable file-header rules are identifiable; * generated-file rules are identifiable where applicable; * modification and review rules are identifiable; * cleanup or exclusion rules are identified where applicable; and * contributors can determine the governing handbook expectations for each location. ===== Traceability ===== This requirement connects repository organization to the practical development governance defined by the Phase 0 Developer Handbook.
