The FX Demo Logical Profile SHALL define an FX Transaction and Contract Lifecycle Model.

===== Rationale =====

The FX Transaction and Contract Lifecycle Model provides the platform-independent architectural description of how FX transactions and contracts progress through their logical lifecycle. Defining this model establishes a consistent architectural foundation for transaction processing, contract evolution, governance, traceability, auditability, and evidence generation without prescribing implementation technologies or runtime mechanisms.

By defining the lifecycle model at the logical architecture level, the FX Demo Logical Profile enables multiple Implementation Profiles to realize equivalent lifecycle behaviour using different implementation approaches while preserving the same architectural meaning.

===== Applies To =====

This requirement applies to the definition, review, maintenance, interpretation, and evolution of the FX Demo Logical Profile.

It applies specifically to:

  * transaction lifecycle modeling;
  * contract lifecycle modeling;
  * logical architecture;
  * architectural governance; and
  * derived Implementation Profiles.

===== Verification =====

Verification SHALL confirm that the FX Demo Logical Profile explicitly defines an FX Transaction and Contract Lifecycle Model.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  * the lifecycle model is defined;
  * transaction and contract lifecycle concepts are represented;
  * the lifecycle model remains platform independent; and
  * lifecycle concepts are applied consistently throughout the profile.

===== Traceability =====

This requirement establishes the logical lifecycle model for the FX Demo Logical Profile while preserving traceability to the conceptual and logical architecture defined by Parts 1 and 2.
