While interactions across Runtime Planes are expected, they must not blur or redefine the architectural responsibilities assigned to each plane. Preserving the distinct purpose of every Runtime Plane maintains separation of concerns, simplifies architectural governance, supports traceability, and enables independent evolution of Runtime Plane responsibilities without introducing unnecessary coupling. Maintaining clear Runtime Plane boundaries also improves portability by allowing different Implementation Profiles to realize cross-plane interactions using different technologies while preserving the same architectural intent. ===== Applies To ===== This requirement applies to every cross-plane relationship defined by the FX Demo Logical Profile. It applies specifically to: * cross-plane interactions; * Runtime Plane architecture; * architectural governance; * logical communication relationships; * traceability; and * derived Implementation Profiles. ===== Verification ===== Verification SHALL confirm that cross-plane relationships preserve the architectural purpose of every participating Runtime Plane. Verification activities should include review checks confirming that: * cross-plane relationships are explicitly identified; * each Runtime Plane retains its defined architectural responsibilities; * responsibilities are not duplicated or transferred between Runtime Planes; * separation of concerns is preserved; and * implementation technologies do not alter the architectural meaning of Runtime Plane relationships. ===== Traceability ===== This requirement preserves the separation of concerns established by the Runtime Plane architecture and governs interactions among Runtime Planes within the FX Demo Logical Profile.
