FX Logical Change Control SHALL govern changes to FX logical definitions, relationships, responsibilities, constraints, lifecycle states, and interaction patterns.

===== Rationale =====

Architectural changes must be governed to preserve the consistency, integrity, and traceability of the FX Demo Logical Profile. Logical Change Control provides a platform-independent governance process for managing changes to definitions, relationships, responsibilities, constraints, lifecycle states, and interaction patterns without prescribing organizational workflows or implementation-specific change-management technologies.

Maintaining controlled architectural evolution supports interoperability, conformance, and long-term stability across multiple Implementation Profiles.

===== Applies To =====

This requirement applies to all governed changes within the FX Demo Logical Profile.

It applies specifically to:

  * logical change management;
  * architectural governance;
  * lifecycle governance;
  * conformance assessment; and
  * derived Implementation Profiles.

===== Verification =====

Verification SHALL confirm that changes to governed logical elements are controlled through the FX Logical Change Control model.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  * governed changes are identified;
  * affected architectural elements are identified;
  * change governance preserves traceability and architectural consistency; and
  * implementation-specific workflow or approval technologies are not prescribed.
