A Domain Logical Profile SHALL identify the Part 2 logical elements it inherits unchanged.

Explicitly identifying inherited logical elements distinguishes reused architecture from specialized architecture. This improves architectural review, governance, compatibility assessment, and traceability.

It applies specifically to:

  * Inherited logical elements;
  * Domain Logical Profiles; and
  * Logical Architecture / PIM.

Verification SHALL confirm that inherited Part 2 logical elements are explicitly identified.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  * inherited logical elements are documented;
  * inherited meaning is preserved;
  * no unintended changes are introduced; and
  * traceability to Part 2 exists.

This requirement supports traceability between inherited Part 2 logical elements and Domain Logical Profiles.
