Some cross-plane relationships affect governance, release, recovery, auditability, provenance, or evidence. These relationships need traceability so reviewers, implementers, auditors, and governance bodies understand the relationship between architectural purpose and later logical, implementation, deployment, or evidence material.

This requirement supports impact analysis, accountability, reconstruction, and defensibility.

It applies specifically to relationships affecting:

  * Governance and Authority
  * Release
  * Recovery
  * Auditability
  * Provenance
  * Evidence

Verification SHALL confirm that cross-plane relationships are traceable when they affect governance, release, recovery, auditability, provenance, or evidence.

Verification activities include review checks confirming that:

  * Affected cross-plane relationships identify the involved Runtime Planes
  * Traceability links connect the relationship to governed concerns
  * Traceability links connect the relationship to release or recovery concerns where applicable
  * Traceability links connect the relationship to auditability, provenance, or evidence where applicable
