The final joint rule: * Establishes joint data standards intended to promote interoperability of financial regulatory data * Takes effect on 1 October 2026 * Does not itself change existing reporting, recordkeeping, or information-collection obligations * Does not apply the standards to particular collections of information without subsequent agency-specific rulemaking or other agency action * Preserves agency authority to determine how applicable standards operate within the agency’s statutory jurisdiction * Permits tailoring or use of other standards where authorized by the FDTA Statements in FDIS-RA concerning FDTA implementation, implementation timing, agency obligations, reporting systems, or application of the joint data standards require interpretation in accordance with this final joint rule. ---- © 2026 Dido Solutions, Inc. and Jackrabbit Consulting, Inc.
