This reference provides the architectural guidance used by FDIS-RA to explain the purpose and role of a
[[dido:99_annexes:annex-b-terms-and-definitions:r:reference_architecture|Reference Architecture]].

The publication describes a Reference Architecture as a mechanism that:

  * Promotes consistency in addressing recurring classes of problems
