====== FX Transaction Intake Node ====== Return to Terms and Definitions ===== Discussion ===== The **FX Transaction Intake Node** receives candidate FX transaction information and introduces it into the FX Demo logical Node network. The FX Transaction Intake Node performs transaction intake responsibilities. It accepts FX Transaction Candidate information, assigns or preserves required identifiers, records intake context, publishes transaction intake information, and supports Traceability from initial receipt to later validation, interpretation, contract state, cash-flow computation, audit, provenance, and Evidence expectations. The FX Transaction Intake Node participates primarily in the Logical Data Plane. It also participates in the Logical Audit and Provenance Plane when it records intake provenance, and in the Logical Health and Observability Plane when it reports operational condition. ===== Definition ===== //FX logical Node responsible for receiving candidate FX transaction information and introducing it into the FX Demo logical node network.// ===== Source ===== Specialization of Logical Node from Part 2, Section 6.2, and Node from Part 1, Section 7.2; generalised from transaction intake material in the original FX Demo Reference Architecture. ===== Note ===== The FX Transaction Intake Node is not a user interface, file parser, API endpoint, DDS participant, REST resource, process, container, or deployment artifact. Implementation Profiles select the intake mechanism. ===== Example ===== The FX Transaction Intake Node receives an FX Transaction Candidate and publishes intake information for validation. ---- © 2026 Dido Solutions, Inc. and Jackrabbit Consulting, Inc.
