OR-002c — Deployment Acceptance Record
Go to OR-002 — Deployment Environments
Statement
Crucible SHALL record the acceptance result of each completed Deployment assessed against the Acceptance Criteria defined for the selected Deployment Target.
Derived From
This requirement derives from:
* OR-002 — Deployment Environments
* Crucible System Requirements Specification, Version 1.1 Draft, Operational Requirements, OR-002
The Original Requirement states:
> //The system SHALL support deployment into://
>
> * //AWS//
> * //Azure//
> * //Google Cloud Platform//
> * //VMware//
> * //OpenShift//
> * //Kubernetes//
> * //Bare Metal Infrastructure//
> * //Air-Gapped Environments//[[dido:02-crusible:99-annexes:annex-b:cr-001|[C1]]]
OR-002c derives the obligation to preserve the result of the acceptance assessment performed for a completed Deployment.
Rationale
An acceptance assessment does not provide durable Auditability or Traceability unless its result is recorded.
The Deployment Acceptance Record provides evidence that a completed Deployment was assessed against the Acceptance Criteria defined for its selected Deployment Target.
OR-002c requires Crucible to preserve the acceptance result independently of the execution and assessment activities that produced it.
Applies To
This requirement applies to:
* Crucible
* Deployments
* Deployment Targets
* Acceptance Criteria
* Deployment acceptance assessments
* Deployment Acceptance Records
* Evidence
* Auditability
* Provenance
* Traceability
Verification
Verification confirms that:
- Each tested completed Deployment has an acceptance assessment result
- Crucible records the acceptance result of each tested completed Deployment
- Each Deployment Acceptance Record identifies the completed Deployment
- Each Deployment Acceptance Record identifies the selected Deployment Target
- Each Deployment Acceptance Record identifies the Acceptance Criteria used for the assessment
- Each Deployment Acceptance Record identifies the result for each assessed Acceptance Criterion
- Each Deployment Acceptance Record identifies any Acceptance Criterion that could not be assessed
- Each Deployment Acceptance Record identifies the overall acceptance result
- Each Deployment Acceptance Record preserves Provenance and Traceability

Delivery Phase
Implemented and Verified.
Implementation Status
Assess whether the current Crucible implementation records the acceptance result of each completed Deployment assessed against the Acceptance Criteria defined for the selected Deployment Target.
Requirement Status
Review and approve OR-002c as a leaf requirement derived from OR-002.
----
Issues
Define the permitted Deployment acceptance results.
Define the information required in a Deployment Acceptance Record.
Define how the Deployment Acceptance Record identifies the Acceptance Criteria used for the assessment.
Define how the Deployment Acceptance Record represents an Acceptance Criterion that could not be assessed.
Define the retention requirements for Deployment Acceptance Records.
Define the Evidence, Provenance, and Traceability required for each Deployment Acceptance Record.

Notes for Editors
This requirement page should retain the stable requirement identifier OR-002c.
This page is a leaf requirement page and omits a trailing :start from its namespace.
OR-002c governs preservation of the Deployment acceptance result.
OR-002c does not govern:
* Execution of the Deployment
* Selection of the Deployment Target
* Definition of the Acceptance Criteria
* Performance of the acceptance assessment
Changes to the Statement should preserve:
* Crucible as the responsible actor
* Recording as the required behavior
* The acceptance result as the recorded subject
* Each completed Deployment as the assessed Deployment
* The Acceptance Criteria defined for the selected Deployment Target as the assessment basis
